"Many people from the surrounding area, and many from out-of-state, find that the Humboldt Public Library is one of the best small library resources from Humboldt to Memphis".

The Humboldt Public Library is the technology hub of our community, helping people on computers, Ereaders, etc. We help with job searches and resumes and our collection includes good books in all formats-audio, large print, etc. We have great Programs for all ages going on every month.  We are wireless and our Friends group is working on an Internet Garden where patrons may use that wireless after hours. Our Friends group is very active and involved in our library.

At Humboldt Pulic Library you have access to the internet and Wi-Fi free of charge. We have multimedia and games for children of all ages as well as word processing for the public. There is a charge of .25 per printed charge and students are allowed up to 3 copies free of charge. There is a conference room available for use by non-profit organizations and is equipped with meeting essentials. There is a Children's Room with fiction and non-fiction books, and also a selection of videos, DVD's, music CD's, playaways and audio books that can be checked out for two weeks. Humboldt also provides copying services for .25 each copy or .10 on your own paper. There is a young adult reading area with junior high to college material along with fiction and non fiction novels. For patrons unable to travel, the library provides "Books-On-Wheels" where you contact Ms. Felita Martin until Wednesday at 4 p.m. and she will deliver the books to the patrons' homes on Thursday every week. Humboldt Public Library also has a microfilm reader and printer/scanner containing genealogy research material. There is also a comfortable sitting area to read current magazines and newspapers that are available.
