The mission of the Ardmore Public Library is to “provide current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats to help community residents obtain information that meet their personal, education, and professional needs.”

Description

The Ardmore Public Library is located on Main Street in Ardmore by the Ardmore Tennessee's City Hall across from the Dollar General Store and Subway.  It is handicapped accessible.

General Information

The Ardmore Public Library began in 1977 and currently serves a population of 3,456 with a collection of over 38,397. There are programs for children-Story Hour and Summer Reading Program, for seniors-Seniors @ the Library and for all adults-GED Classes, Book Club, Friends of the Library, RSVP Tax Service and the Ardmore Historical Society. Also, computers are available for public use along with free WiFi. Regional Ebooks and Audiobooks Dowload Systems (http://reads.lib.overdrive.com/) are available with the use of your library card. A card will be issued to anyone who applies with a current identification. A child under the age of 14 years must have the signature of a parent or legal guardian.
