Provides community activities
Department of Human Services, provides assistance with Families First, a workforce development and employment program for needy families, Child Support services, disability services, adult protective services, as well as SNAP food stamps.
Mission to protect, promote and improve the health and prosperity of the residents of Smith County. Includes standard county health department services.
Programs currently include Adult Protective Services (APS) Homemaker, UCHRA Public Transportation Services, Home Modifications for the elderly and disabled and more.
