Please call or stop by the Legal Aid East Tennessee (LAET) office to apply for service in Morristown, Tennessee. Legal Aid East Tennessee is a small publicly funded law firm with adequate resources to assist only 5-20% of the people in its service area who have legal problems and are eligible for its services. While LAET cannot help everyone, it does encourage everyone who may be eligible to call or visit its office. LAET is happy to determine what it can do to assist you when you call or stop by its office.

Morristown-Hamblen Public Library, serving an area of 62,000 residents, has a collection of 115,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 2,400 CDs, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 3,400 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 9:00am-5:30pm Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00am-8:00pm
