Please call or stop by the Legal Aid East Tennessee (LAET) office to apply for service in Knoxville, Tennessee. Legal Aid East Tennessee is a small publicly funded law firm with adequate resources to assist only 5-20% of the people in its service area who have legal problems and are eligible for its services. While LAET cannot help everyone, it does encourage everyone who may be eligible to call or visit its office. LAET is happy to determine what it can do to assist you when you call or stop by its office.
