Department of Human Services, provides assistance with Families First, a workforce development and employment program for needy families, Child Support services, disability services, adult protective services, as well as SNAP food stamps.

Legal Aid East Tennessee is a small publicly funded law firm with adequate resources to assist only 5-20% of the people in its service area who have legal problems and are eligible for its services. While LAET cannot help everyone, it does encourage everyone who may be eligible to call or visit its office. LAET is happy to determine what it can do to assist you when you call or stop by its office.
